Become a Home Inspector

At RECP, you’ll learn what it takes to become a thorough and knowledgeable home inspector. We provide a complete education in home inspection, covering everything from construction elements and mechanical systems to legal aspects, marketing and customer service.

You’ll gain valuable firsthand experience by performing practice field inspections in between weekday classes. And because we’re committed to your success, we’ll help you complete and grade your first inspection. This six-day course costs $895.

Register in Advance
Please enroll at least 10 days in advance to allow time for the pre-reading assignment. There are no prerequisites for enrollment, but you must pre-register, as space and textbooks are not available at the class location.

Please Note: You must attend 100% of the course. A one-hour lunch break will be allowed each day. Successful completion of a written examination with a grade of at least 75% is required for a completion certificate. The Evansville course is an Evansville Ivy Tech Cosponsored Program; all payment/transfer/refund policies are subject to Ivy Tech policies.
